Must-see buildings
Netaji statue, Panchmathar Mor
Subhas Chandra Bose on horseback, 1969, at the centre of the five roads.
Star Theatre
1883, moved and rebuilt. Girish Ghosh's stage, and now a restored auditorium and cinema.
Shyambazar tram depot
Largely idle. It was one of the network's northern anchors.
